George VI 1936 till 1952. Wife was Queen Elizabeth. Dad given a Coronation Medal to Commemorate this occasion.

In this song and in his poem ‘A Golden Memory ‘ (See 1939) there is a deep sense of emotion about something lost in his life. Very moving.
